AUTONOMY MODEL
Structured progression from assistant to operative lead.

The goal is not observation. The goal is readiness to independently evaluate, plan, and execute advanced surgical cases with appropriate judgment.

Months 1–3

Assist, treatment planning, targeted operative components, perioperative workflow immersion.

Months 4–6

Perform defined surgical components with direct attending oversight.

Months 7–12

Lead selected cases with attending supervision and increasing independence.

COMPENSATION
Competitive compensation with production-based upside.

The fellowship is structured for serious surgical training while recognizing the value of a fully trained OMS graduate.
